About the event
Join Bill Morgan, Master Gardener to learh how stormwater runoff washes erosion-induced sediments as well as industrial and residential pollutants into downstream waterways. Runoff threatens the health of these streams, and all living things which utilize them for drinking water. Incorporating native plants with deep and extensively branching root systems into the riparian landscape improves water quality by slowing water runoff, thus holding soil, and absorbing and metabolizing waterborne pollutants.
