The Cumberland County Master Gardeners are dedicated volunteers who promote sustainable gardening through education and community service. Partnering with the University of Tennessee, we offer workshops, outreach, and projects to help gardeners of all levels grow and enhance our local environment.

Spend your summer gaining hands-on research experience at UT Plateau AgResearch & Education Center. A 10-week internship in real-world plant sciences awaits! 

 

Open to all students enrolled in the 2026-2027 academic year majoring in plant sciences or a related field of study.

CCMG, offers short, hands-on classes in the garden. Participants learn practical skills they can use at home while exploring plants, landscapes, and seasonal topics. Our Annual

Gardens Plant Sale

Our spring plant sale is Saturday, May 2nd, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Central.

 

This year’s selection is bigger than ever, featuring new, award-winning, native, and pollinator-friendly plants. UT Gardens members receive a 10% discount. 

Master Gardeners will also grow tomato and pepper plants to sell. Be sure to arrive early for the best selection!

Located at 320 Experiment Station Rd.

Rain Barrels Sale!

These barrels are an eco-friendly way to collect and store rainwater, helping reduce runoff and lower your water usage. Easy to install and maintain, they are perfect for sustainable gardening. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to save both water and money!

Orders begin February and pick-up is April.
