Welcome Home to Tennessee

As you settle into your new home, you might be excited about exploring the unique gardening opportunities that come with living on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau. We’re thrilled to offer you the chance to join our Fall Garden Series… “Welcome Home to Tennessee”, designed especially for newcomers like you.

Join us every Tuesday in October, in The Country Store at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds, as we dive into a series of engaging and informative sessions that will help you make the most of your new garden:

  • October 1: Welcome to TN Climate, Soils, and Your Landscape

  • October 8: Sustainability in Your Lawn and Landscape

  • October 15: Herbaceous Plants - Annuals and Perennials

  • October 22: Woody Ornamentals - Shrubs and Trees

  •

These sessions are taught by our experienced horticulture educators and are perfect for anyone looking to start or enhance their garden in Tennessee. Each week, you’ll also get to participate in local labs and activities that bring the teachings to life, and provide you an opportunity to ask questions specific to our area.

Registration:  To register, click here or use the Registration link button above.  The cost is $40, but that can be shared by a couple (one class book per registration).
