2024 Master Gardener
Volunteer Training Class

The TN Master Gardener program is an opportunity to volunteer to assist others and is an exceptional way to improve the community and also a great way to learn more about plants and improve your gardening techniques.  The purpose of the Master Gardener program is to train citizens as horticultural-educated volunteers of The University of Tennessee Extension and the Tennessee State Cooperative Extension Program. Volunteers work in partnership with their counties to expand the educational outreach by providing home gardeners with research-based information.

The Tennessee Master Gardener Volunteer Program offers many opportunities to make new friends and enhance your horticultural expertise while becoming involved in community activities.

The buttons below will get you all the information that you need.  All classes will be held at 9am on Tuesdays.  The Class Schedule shows the topics and the dates.  There are two application forms...one for Cumberland County and one for UT Extension.  There is also an agreement form that is required by UT.  If you want, you can pay the course fee online using the "Payment" button below, or you can bring a check to the Cumberland County UT Extension office along with the completed forms.
