Want to hone your gardening skills in our challenging conditions?
Well, the next
Master Gardener class is set to start Monday, March 22nd and run through mid
May. This class will meet on Monday and Wednesday mornings for three hours
for a series of 14 sessions. The class leads to a certification as a
Master Gardener by the University of Tennessee Agriculture Extension Service.
Material covered ranges from basic botany, to pruning, to turf grass management,
to disease identification to landscape design.
A substantial reference
binder and the CD "Favorite Plants for the Plateau" will be provided.
Tuition is $75 per person or $100 for a couple. The individual sessions
are lead by UT Knoxville Staff, County Extension Agents or certified Master
Gardeners.
