Friday, April 24

2:30 ~ Popular Knoxville TV personality, Neal Denton, will speak on "Surviving Drought and Other Plagues of Landscape".  Neal currently does three horticultural spots weekly; two on Live at Five and one on the Morning Show for WBIR, the NBC affiliate in Knoxville .  Neal is now doing four 30 minute shows a year called Out in the Yard, which takes a landscape that needs some help and works to improve it throughout the year.

 4:00 ~ David Vandergriff is a Certified Professional Horticulturist and a Certified Arborist that will present a clinic on Avoiding Problems with Trees”  He will be speaking about  the new research in planting; ball and burlap versus bare root; encroachment of roots in sidewalks and buildings  and much more.

5:00 ~ Lucas Holman  "The Not-So-Usual Plants for your Landscape"

Saturday, April 25

10:00 a.m. ~ Greg Upchurch, local UT Extension agent, will talk on “Soil Profiles or the Real Dirt on Soil”.  Do you need to amend your soil or not and what is the difference in soils?  

12:00 a.m. ~  Lynne Baker, Master Gardener, “Honey, We’re Killing the Shrubs”   Proper pruning and care of your shrubs.

2:30 p.m. ~ Terry Brooks, Master Gardener and owner of of Wild Things Farm will give a clinic on the “Latest Ideas in Growing Vegetables”

 4:00 p.m. ~ Carol Burdett, Master Gardener Lifetime Member, will share her knowledge of   “Organic Gardening”   

Sunday, April 26

12:00 ~  Dr. Karen McGlothlin, local veterinarian, “How to Protect Your  Pet from Garden Plants that are Poisonous to Them”  

1:00 p.m. Rae Hozer, Master Gardener Lifetime Member and garden writer for not only the Crossville Chronicle but many of the newspapers of surrounding counties will speak on “Growing and Using Culinary Herbs”
